Child Labour in Keraniganj
Child labor is a rampant issue in Keraniganj, Dhaka, with children working in hazardous industries for long hours and low wages. They face health risks from chemicals and machinery. Despite efforts from NGOs and the government, the issue persists. Solutions include better access to education, healthcare, and stronger law enforcement.
Ensure the most marginalized children in Bangladesh receive their fair share of resources, policies, and protections to end child labour. This includes equitable access to education, stronger enforcement of laws, expanded social safety nets, and international support through ODA and debt relief.
