Bangladesh Government is working to eliminate Child Labour from Hazardous Sectors

Bangladesh Labour Foundation (BLF) has been working with the Ministry of Labour & Employment, GoB to eliminate child labour from hazardous work. Nearly one thousand child workers are now under BLF skill development program who those are engaged in the listed hazardous sector of Bangladesh Government. In BLF skill development center, the children are given training on Mobile Servicing, Beauty Parlour, Embroidery and Cutting & Tailoring.

Along with the Bangladesh government’s initiative and the adoption of SDG target 8.7, we are committed to eradicating child labour from all sectors by 2025.
